About Me

Since picking up my father's Kodak 35mm rangefinder camera in 1973 at the age of 15, a camera in one form or another has been my constant companion. Using film formats ranging from 35mm to 4x5 and Digital SLRs, I have captured motorsports, people, places, animals, and landscapes throughout the world. Since the early 1980s, I have been specializing in images of various forms of motorsports including automobile, hydroplane, and motorcycle racing.

My images have been seen in numerous publications (both print and online) including Victory Lane, Vintage Oval Racing, Vintage Drift, Sports Car Digest, H1 Unlimited, and Quattro Quarterly. I worked as a Senior Staff Photographer for Victory Lane Magazine and have been a member of the Northwest Speedshots Motorsports Photographers group since 2008. I was also an instructor at the f8 Motorsports Photography Workshops teaching students the art of shooting racing at tracks in the United States and Canada.
