Bruce Marquand & Tony Adamowicz, Fontana, CA - 2010
Bruce Marquand and the late Tony Adamowicz at Auto Club Speedway. Tony competed in a number of different series including Trans-Am, Can-Am, IMSA, and SCCA. He secured podium finishes at both the 24 Hours of Daytona and 24 Hours of Le Mans in 1971. He also won championships in the IMSA series three years in a row from 1981 to 1983. One of his proudest achievements was winning the SCCA Continental Championship in his #7 Eagle F5000 in 1969. In 2008 the Eagle was restored to its 1969 condition and Tony raced it at various vintage events until his passing in 2016.
